Cluiche focal ollmhór- large word puzzle

Use this resource to help your students practice their maths and spelling skills. It includes large letter tiles, each with a score and a sheet for the children to keep track of their words and scores. This could be used as a group activity on the floor/ a table or on the whiteboard with bluetack/ magnetic stickers as a wholeclass activity. You could also use the letters on display boards. 
 
Two letter tiles are on each page. Print the sheets 2 per page if you would like the letters to be smaller. Each letter is black and white to save ink but you could print on coloured paper/ card if you wish. I would suggest printing letters of the same score on the same coloured paper to help children understand the scoring system better. 
 
Please note, this game is based on the Irish alphabet. It will not work for English spelling as some letters will be missing.
